Internship: UX/UI Designer

Need description here
As a UX/UI design intern at Winterkeep, you will be part of the development team and collaborate closely with designers, programmers, and artists in a production environment.

There are no formal requirements, but prior exposure to UX or UI design, interface design, or prototyping tools as part of your education is a plus.

What you will work on

You will work with designing and iterating on user interfaces and player facing systems for a PC strategy game. This includes menus, information dense interfaces, and interaction flows where clarity, usability, and readability are essential.

The design work often includes both the user experience and the flow, as well as creating the assets and art that is needed.

You will work closely with game designers and programmers to ensure that interfaces support gameplay systems and the overall player experience.

What you will learn

You will learn how UX and UI design is practiced in a professional game development team and how interfaces are developed, tested, and iterated in a production environment.

You will gain experience working across disciplines and learn how usability, visual design, and technical constraints come together in a finished game.
